Direction on microbiological analysis methods

The main objective of the activity of the direction on microbiological methods of analysis is the detection and counting of the number of various microorganisms, including and pathogens, in food, feed, perfumes and cosmetics, personal care products, water, including bottled, washes.

Along with this, we are engaged in the determination of residual amounts of antibiotics in animal products, as well as the determination of the number of somatic cells in milk, which is an indicator of the quality of milk.

In addition, the direction is engaged in parasitological studies of fish products, fruits and vegetables, fruits and vegetables and vegetable products, drinking water.

Another area of the testing center’s activity is the histological examination of meat products in order to determine whether the actual composition is stated on the label.
